We also take great care in keeping the process simple. It’s true, there’s a lot that goes into building a custom home. But “custom” does not have to mean complicated. We keep it simple from day one. At each step, our aim is to keep you involved, but never overwhelmed. 



BUILDER'S STORY

Patrick O’Leary started his career working in the development and construction of custom homes with American Village Development and American Village Builders in Kalamazoo, MI. In 1992, Mr. O’Leary moved to Metro Detroit and joined The Selective Group. It was here that he laid the foundation for his Metro Detroit real estate career and began making relationships within the trade that continue today. In 1995, Mr. O’Leary founded Hometowne Building Company which quickly became known for its thoughtful design and quality construction. Under Mr. O’Leary’s leadership, the company thrived as one of the leading home builders in Southeast Michigan, recording nearly 300 closings annually and $74 million in annual revenue. In 2007, Mr. O’Leary joined the Agree Realty Corporation (traded as ADC on the NYSE). It’s here, on his way to becoming Vice President at Agree, that he furthered his expertise in the development side of the business. This knowledge-enhancing venture served as the perfect stepping-stone when Mr. O’Leary returned to home building. Today, as the founder of Blue Peninsula, Mr. O’Leary continues pursuing his passion of building custom homes. 

Mr. O’Leary has a BBA in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate as well as a double minor in Economics and Business Management from Western Michigan University. He is a licensed Builder and Broker in Michigan.
